MBA Mold Team introduced IMould system in April 2018 to improve mould manufacturing efficiency. At present, we have implemented semi-automatic machining & measurement system for 2 sets Agie Charmilles EDM machines, 2 sets Fanuc CNC and a Zeiss CMM machine.
The semi-automatic contents:
1.Set up Automatic identification system for workpiece and tools， iMould use barcode identification according to actual demand.
2.Fixture Management and Automatic compensation for offset value, which indeed realized every process, especially EDM no need to adjust its balance bit / center position or depth.
3.Implement intelligent programming and standardization, separate CNC/EDM programming from workshop, then operators no need to deal with programming files.
4.CNC, CMM, EDM process could have semi-automatic operation.
