In order to offer better project support and improve the productivity to our customers, Mold Best Assurance Company Limited imported a new CNC machine from Japan.
MBA Mold received 2 sets of stack mould purchase order from our Brazil customer. It was the first time of our company to manufacture stack mold.
Stack mold is a mold with a series of same cavities and cores to produce the same parts in one mold.
Mould fitting is very important to moulds.If the mould fitting works well,there won't be any flash or burrs in products in the process of production of injection molding.
Our strong Design Team already has ability to design all kinds of special moulds and highly difficult mould. For example: stack mould, BI mould, over mould, gas-assisted mould, high temperature mould, Auto-unscrewing mould, double ejection mould, oil cyclinder core pulling mould etc.
A mold can cost from several thousand to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the most important factors that affect the price of the mold are the complexity of the part that will be produced from the mold, the size and the number of cavities.
Not only injection mold temperature determines melt temperature as it moves quickly through the mold. The melt temperature itself as it starts its journey through the injection mold (self-evidently) is the reference point. Speed of injection, particularly in thin sections, is of huge influence, as it will determine the degree of shear heating.
Many engineering materials like PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate) have a tendency of out-gassing. The best practices that I have to date are: Add 10mm wide vents spaced 30mm from each other all the way around parting line. Always follow the recommendations of the material company for vent depth.
